JALALABAD, Afghanistan/PESHAWAR, Pakistan (Reuters) - Afghan officials and militant figures on Friday were investigating reports the leader of the Pakistani Taliban may have been killed in a U.S. air strike inside Afghanistan but his fate remained unclear.
